yup, that’s been my life for the past few weeks. but as always things are exactly how they’re supposed to be. the diva has been sick (cough, cough) for the past few weeks. so sick in fact that i missed a plane to go to a dear friend’s wedding! been stuck in bed with no voice which means couldn’t talk to the few people i enjoy talking to on the phone. didn’t even have the energy to put up myspace surveys much less blog about my life…

what i was able to do is think about where my life is an everything beautiful that is in it. i was able to appreciate the people that i call friends and family. i was able to look passed the nonsense that i sometimes let cloud my judgement. i was able to also acknowledge that i’m not 100% happy with the way that i’ve been living.

focus! is what i always preach but i don’t think i’ve been doing much of it for a while. while being under the weather i have decided that today is the last day i will be unfocused! yup, today is it. if i am blessed enough to be given another day in this world than it will be one day closer i will be to being exactly who i am supposed to be.

while being sick i have begun to focus myself a bit. i began my visualization board (if you haven’t read the secret yet, i suggest you get on it) . like life it is a work in progress but i have the most important desires on it already. i can see it from my bed and it makes me smile. i have scheduled a workshop for friday because i definitely have fallen off of my consultant game and need to remember how much money that puts in the bank…

i’m a woman on a mission now…or should i say bac on a mission because my goals haven’t changed i’m just waking back up and realizing that while i’ve set them out by putting them into the universe it will still take work, commitment and focus to achieve them…

Wednesday, June 20th-my official bday party @ the hottest Afterwork spot Aura.
* Aura is located on 19th between 5th & Broadway. Ladies are free, men are $5.
* 7PM – 2AM

Friday, June 22nd (my bday)
* dinner @ lips. Drag queens serve you food between song & dance numbers.
* I have to make reservations so pls let me know if you’re interested in going.
