December 27, 2006so the diva doesn’t believe in resolutions because rarely do people keep them instead i will make myself a list of promises. goals and such that i want to see completed and kept for the new year. some i will have complete control over and others i will have to put faith in others.
1. go on at least 4 trips in 2007 (march will see me out west for young mel’s bday & june will see me north in bawhstan for tracey’s nuptials…is paris still an option???)Â i was blessed to go away 3 times this year and i see no point in doing any less, in fact gotta keep growth so let’s see at 4 in the new year.)
2. get my drive on. by the end of 2007 the diva will have gotten her license and a hooptie. i heart being driven around but at some point the diva needs to be able to drive back & forth from bk to the bx because the train is getting tired…
3. figure out what i want to do for a living. working 5 jobs is getting a little tired. by the end of 2007 i want to be done with the part-time thing and working fulltime with City Hall Entertainment. let’s make this happen!
4. own property. or at least have enough money in the bank to put down on a nice piece of property. (doesn’t have to be in ny) chuckie, what’s good with the miami condos???
5. let my feelings be known.
6. stay on task with my writing. weekly blog updates. finish at least one if not all 3 of my current books.
7. stop fighting myself for him.
8. the opportunity to make myself new promises and goals weekly. the only way to grow is to keep motivating for more.
December 19, 2006i have made a decision that for 2007 my writing will no longer be pushed to the back burner! i always say i’m going to make an effort to do more writing then i don’t. it’s my form of self-punishment. its almost as if i don’t allow myself to write the way an anorexic doesn’t allow themself to eat.
no more! in 2007 my loyal readers can expect a weekly blog update and perhaps even more than one a week on a good week. i mean as boring as i think my life is i happen to know other people find it interesting since they spend so much time talking about me and my circle.
i can’t wait for january. i’m supposed to hear from the people at Chica  Luna to find out if my story was selected for the anthology. i really hope it was. if it wasn’t i might post it in a blog. but it’ll be a limited edition blog because i’m not sure if everyone is ready for the emotional outpour that came with it.Â
i also promise not only my readers but myself to get back into writing my books. the women in this city NEED my NY Men in Mind book and everyone will love the other two novels i’m working on.
Brown Barbie, we still need to talk. say the word and i’ll be working on three novels. you know your escapades are ready to be captured.
there’s so much more to say right now and you might see another blog later this week…but for now International Nik is waiting so i must bid you all ado!

Til next time…besos babe!
